Omega Pain Killer is probably one of the first products that would come into your mind when you hear the word “topical” (applied unto skin) pain reliever. With more than 50 years of providing instant relief for minor aches, Omega had already been a part of the lives of millions of Filipinos.
The Magic Potion: Omega Pain Killer
Omega Liniment is Methyl Salicylate plus Camphor plus Menthol. Methyl Salicylate or wintergreen oil is the component that provides pain relief by means of counter-irritation. Camphor, another active ingredient, has many uses. Aside from providing pain relief, it could also be used as insect repellent and decongestant. Menthol also has local anesthetic (mild) and counterirritant qualities, but is known mostly for its cooling property. Omega Pain Killer is a product of International Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

The Verdict for Omega Pain Killer Liniment
Omega Pain Killer Liniment is a “value for your money” must have for instant pain relief. I particularly like that it smells good and feels good on my skin. It is not as greasy as the other liniments in the market and penetration is fast, thus quick relief. My family and I have been using this product since the early 90’s and though we are sometimes alternating it with other topical pain reliefs, Omega will always be our first choice. In fact, I have the 30 ml bottle sitting on my desk right now. Omega Pain Killer is also ideal for massaging because the cold to warm sensation on tired muscles is very relaxing. I would recommend this product to those who want pain relief in a flash but does not want to take oral analgesics. Omega Pain Killer is safe for everyday use.
